We've long been fans of the operations at Omni Casino & Sportsbook. This marks our second review of Omni and if you can recall our biggest gripe back in Apr 2000 was the need to download a large executeable.

Recently the folks at Omni Casino released a suite of Java Games making it possible to play their games without having to wait for lengthy downloads. Here's a look at what we found with this new flavor.

We had no problems getting into the Java Games, or making a deposit. In fact, they now accept PayPal, FirePay, NETeller and other new deposit options. Then onto the games we went. (Those of you who know me, know that I'm a Blackjack fan .... so that was my first stop).

Absolutely AMAZING! Honestly, this is probably the best Java Based implementation of a casino I've seen. All of the games were incredibly rich with great sound and graphics. I think that whether you're new to the world of online gaming, or an oldie like me, you'll love playing these games. After a few hands at blackjack, I tried slots and roulette and was equally impressed. They've really done their homework on these games.

We never had any problems but was pleased to receive a few follow up emails from Omni Casino and even took the time to look into their comp programs. They made it an issue to mention to us that they've recently been awarded by Gambling Online Magazine as having the 'Best Comp Program'. I wouldn't argue there.

My only argument would have been that there are no 'Play for Fun' games in the Java Edition as they had in the Download version. They did explain to me that a 'Practice Mode' suite of games will be there by months end. [Editor's Note: Omni has since added a practice version to their Java games]

I know that this new suite of games will be backed by the service and support that has made Omni Casino one of the best in the industry. I'm calling this a winner!

How we pick 'em!
Every month our team of independent experts scour the world of interactive gaming to bring you the best of the best.

In selecting the 'Featured Casino' we look at all aspects of the online experience including download times (if any), ease of registration, technical support (live and otherwise), casino credibility, security, game play (including graphics, audio, animation etc), hold percentages .... and most importantly promptness of payouts.

We call 'em like we see 'em ..... no holds barred! If our experts say they're good ... then they're good!
